Dear Fern and family, We are so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. We enjoyed the time we spent getting to know you and "Grandpa" on the trip to Alaska, as you were so close to visiting all 50 states. I'm sure he and Roy are talking trucks. Our thoughts are with you all.

My parents were very fortunate to know Kenny and your Mother, Fern, for many years while involved in the "old car club" together. I was also was very lucky to have talked to him many times over the years. I was always amazed by his dedication and pride he put into those vintage chevy triuck. What treasure he left behind for the world to enjoy from his hard work. I worked for some years at Cherter Fuels and set a small propane tank behind his shop for a heater. While fixing a leak in the gas line in the line I thouroughly enjoyed the time I got to visit with Kenny while he helped me fix it. A memory I will always remember. My deepest sympathy to you Fern and all your family. Dan Steinback

Bev, Betty, and Barb - As I was just looking at my Platteville Journal, from a couple weeks ago, I was saddened to see your dad's obituary - but the picture and smile also brought me joy. A great picture, with that special smile. Your dad was a very special, kind man. I will always remember the trips that he and your mom brought my mom and dad on, to visit us. Your parents and mine had that special long term friendship - which always brought happiness to all. Our sincere condolences to you all.
