Glendoris was born April 24, 1934 in British Hollow, Wisconsin, daughter of Maynard and Irene (Slaats) Pluemer. She married Eldon Lynch at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Tennyson, on May 3, 1955. She graduated from St. Andrew's Catholic High School in 1952. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Platteville, where she did volunteer work. When the children were young Glendoris stayed at home to raise her children and helped with farm work. She was a bus driver for Grant County Commission of Aging for twenty one (21) years, retiring in 1998. She enjoyed working with the elderly and only missed work when an emergency arrived. She received awards for many years of community service from the Dairyland Antique Club in 1988; the paid category for Wisconsin Rural and Paratransit Providers in Wausau, WI in 1990, Older Worker of the Year distinguished service for her employer in 1996 and a certificate of appreciation for outstanding performance from Grant County. From 2000 to 2013 she did book work for her son's business, Lynch Excavating, part time until her health forced her to “hang things up and slow down”. She loved to play cards and could play almost any game. For the holidays, she would make a gift for the grandkids and hide their money in it. She made up a poem to go along with the gift. For Christmas 2009, she put pictures and poems in a photo book and gave each grandkid one. She also did up the family tree for the Pluemer side, with many pictures in it. St. Andrew's church, school and cemetery were part of this book as many of the relatives were raised in Tennyson and went to church and school there. She always made crème puffs for their family picnics.

Glendoris is survived by her four sons, Daniel “Peach” (Teri) Lynch, Mike “Friday” (Tina) Lynch, Wayne “Birdie” Lynch, Paul “Buck” (Sue) Lynch; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; her sister, Pat (James) Loeffelholz; three brothers-in-law, Donald Schroeder, Cyril Menne, and Donald Schmitt; son-in-law, Dennis Kieler, and many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Dorothy and Lewis Stead. She was preceded in death her husband, Eldon, in 2011; daughter, Joan (Lynch) Kieler in 1982; son, Jerry Lynch in 1981; granddaughter, Krystal in 1998; great-granddaughter, Faith in 2003; her parents; brother, Dennis Pluemer and his wife, Betty; sisters, Darlene Brown, Estelle Schroeder, Pearl Menne, and Janet Schmitt; brother-in-law, Kenneth Brown; and stepfather, Burdette Staver.
