E. Henry

E. Pearl Henry, 91, of rural Lancaster, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Epione Pavilion Nursing Home in Cuba City, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Platteville United Methodist Church. Rev. Brenda Whitford will officiate.  Burial will be at Lima Union Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church.  The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family.  Memorials may be made to the E. Pearl was born at home on October 23, 1925, in Georgetown, Grant County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Orville and Anna (Heins) Kittoe.  Pearl graduated from Cuba City High School in 1942.  She worked in the lab at the Iowa Egg Plant in Platteville until 1945; she was then employed at Gateway Lumber Company in Platteville as a secretary.  She was united in marriage to Edward Henry on January 19, 1946 in Cuba City.  He preceded her in death in 2002.  After they were married, she and Edward farmed in Ellenboro Township.  She loved to dance and bake.  Pearl was a member of the Platteville United Methodist Church. 

Pearl is survived by four children, Darrell (Pauline) Henry of Platteville; Betty (Glen) McFall of Platteville; Keith (Sheri) Henry of Ashland, WI; and Clinton Henry of Lancaster; six grandchildren, Renee (Jeff) Baker, Kevin (Maria) Henry, Kyle (Murphy) McFall, Jacob, David, and Zachary Henry; two great-grandchildren, Jake (Lydia Stindt, fiancé) Baker and Britney Baker.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Robert; four sisters, Lucille Masbruch, Dorothy DeBuhr, Gladys Shockley, and Anna Mae Shinn; and two brothers, Dalven Kittoe and Earl, in infancy.
