Obituary
Keith Whitcher Taber, 39, passed away in Los Angeles, CA following a two year struggle with cancer. He was the youngest son of Tom and Bev (Whitcher) Taber of Platteville. He is survived by brothers, John (Kelly) and Paul (Lindsay); maternal grandmother Fern Whitcher; many caring aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where private family services were held. Burial will be at Lima Union Cemetery at a later date. Per request of the family, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Keith Taber Memorial Fund. Whether it was playing little league baseball or just growing up in the same class with him; Keith was the nicest and most cheerful guy. What an incredible loss!

I have wonderful memories of Keith's great smile and singing in the Lima Union Church children's choir. He was just the best kid! The world is a poorer place without him.
