Shirley Beighley

I remember Shirley directing the kids choir at Westview Methodist. I was not a good singer, but she made it enjoyable to sing in that choir. May the Lord comfort Ken, Brad, Becky and your families.

So very sorry to hear about Shirley. She always had a bright word to say when I had to stop in the bookstore while I was going to college. Thoughts and prayers with you, Dr. B. and to your family. I know the Lord has given you many good memories to hold close to your heart.

Shirley and Ken were my parents' (Harry & Bonnie Jenkins) best friends when I was a child at Oakwood Bible Church in Kalamazoo MI in the late 50s and early 60s. Many fond memories. So grateful Ken and the kids and grandkids can rest in "that blessed hope."

Shirley was such a sweet lady and her smile was contagious. Even when she wasn't feeling the best she could still offer a smile. I will be thinking of you Ken and your family as you say goodbye to such a wonderful lady. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Tina
