MY LIFE LONG FRIEND Five decades, yes, 50 plus years of having spent many days in the field hunting squirrels in Grant County, bow hunting, grouse hunting in north and in the winter months fox hunting in the southern Wisconsin. It was always my pleasure to with Stretch and reminiscing the good times together. Most enjoyable were the times spent fishing, whether it was summer or through the ice. We started making small crappie jigs in which become very popular and kept him busy year around. At the beginning he was selling two or three to selling two or three dozen to his loyal customers. Yes, again from being the best man in my wedding to being my best friend ever. He will be greatly missed. Doug Payne
