Dear Penny, Kelly and family, I was so sad to hear about Uncle Gary's passing. I will always cherish our visits with him and miss our trips to Platteville. I pray he is in a better place now and hope you find peace in knowing you were such an amazing caregiver during his long and hard battle. Please take care of yourself and live your life to the fullest, enjoy those beautiful grandchildren Penny, they will bring you joy in the darkest of times. Love and miss you!

Dear Penny, I am so sorry I failed to come to see you and Gary. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My dad wanted the best man he could find to work the front door at the funeral home on Pine Street in the 60's, and Gary was that man. He wanted kindness, and in Gary's case, the best looking guy in the county to greet guests. Gary was so special, and deserving of your love. You and your family are in my prayers, always. Jeff Mergen

Penny - I am Sandy Doyle-Mesters younger sister. I also waitressed at Ed's cafe and Enjoyed Gary's charisma. My sister Sara Doyle-Gassman worked at Kies Chevrolet for years and I would visit her there and talk to Gary there also. He was very kind to me and of course (as you know) very good looking!. Hang in there! Teresa(Doyle) Pittz
