Tyler John Baal-Fiedler, 27, of Prairie du Chien, died on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Crossing Rivers Hospital, Prairie du Chien. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where there will be a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.. Memorials may be made to the Tyler J. Baal-Fiedler Memorial Fund. Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.

Tyler was born on July 16, 1991 in Platteville, Wisconsin, son of Laura Baal and Kenneth Fiedler, Jr. He graduated from Iowa Grant High School in 2009. He worked Micro tel & Suites, O'Reilly Auto Parts and Kwik Trip in Prairie du Chien. He enjoyed fishing and working on trucks. He especially liked to make everybody happy and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Family and friends were most important part of his life.

He is survived by his mother, Laura (Young Arnold) Gundlach; fiance, Jessica Lessard and her son, Jacob; brothers, Daniel (Jessica Aultman) Baal and Cordell Fiedler; grandparents, Mary Baal and Kenneth Fiedler, Sr; aunts and uncles, Vicki (Mike) Chase, Dana (John) Niehaus, Kendall (Tim) Holmes, April (Bryce Pascoe) Fiedler, Tammy Fiedler and many cousins; step-father, Tom Gundlach. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Fiedler, Jr., grandfather, Ralph Baal, grandmother, Betty Fiedler and uncle, Michael Fiedler.

We knew Tyler from when he was a young boy, we lived in Montfort and he lived across the street from us! He was a great kid and he grew up to be a great young man. Sending sympathy and we will be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Tyler will be missed. Barb, Greg, Kyle & Tyler Fawcett
