Helen Jenkins

Helen was a thoughtful, smart and clever friend to my parents, Jeff & Janelle Manning. She would plan and serve as hostess to their card group events. When we were clearing out Mom & Dad’s house in 2002, I kept cards and poems that Helen had written. I just couldn’t throw them away; they were so clever and thoughtful. Some time passed, and I decided that Helen should have them back, perhaps to donate to the Wisconsin Room at UWP. She & I exchanged a number of letters these past years, and I know she enjoyed hearing about all the Manning children & grandchildren. My sympathy goes to the entire family on the loss of this good lady. No doubt there will be some card playing and partying in heaven. After Wayne passed, Mom & I made a nice chicken casserole and brought it to her house in the country. I still make that casserole and think of her and how grateful she was to receive it. Marcia

Dianne and family , so very sorry to here about your lovely mother. She was very special person to me , she used to come in the cleaners where I worked and we had the. Nicest visits , she always made my day brighter. I won’t be able to make the service but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
