the family has my sympathy

I am so incredibly sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. He was such a big part of our lives growing up and I know my dad's heart and brother's heart are hurting in big ways right now. My prayers are with you all during this incredibly difficult time. May he Rest In Peace. <3

I first met Charlie when I was in the Dowdna Lab grade school at UW-Platteville. Back then Charlie called me by my childhood nickname, Jamie ... he never stopped. I was fortunate enough that our paths occasionally crossed in Platteville ever since. I am so saddened to hear of his passing and will miss our conversations and laughter. Mr. SaLoutos was one of my favorite teachers ever at Doudna Laboratory School. It was a privilege to be taught by someone of such intellect and overall sense of great humor. My sympathies to his family and utmost respect for such a wonderful man.
