The members of the CEE Department were sorry to hear of Tom's illness and (sudden-feeling) death. He was always a strong supporter of our department and its students, and the golf outing will certainly not be the same without him. I also personally offer my sympathy and support to his family.

I am truly saddened to learn that Tom passed away. My deep condolences to his family. Tom was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor. Every time we ran into each other, he was always very friendly and jovial. In our recent conversations here and there in Platteville, he gave me excellent tips about Tucson, AZ. I will miss my occasional chats with him. I wish patience and strength to his family.
