My Mom, Ruth Abing, and I worked for Bob at Tiedemann’s. He was the kindest, most generous man. We thought the world of him. I so appreciated his friendship to my Mom over the years. My sympathies to his family.

I have known Bob since I was growing up. My Mom (Beverly McCabe) would go shopping at the jewelry store and of course Bob would wait on us. The jewelry store was our go to for gifts and such. As I grew older and got married I continued to shop there. Bob was such a kind man. Very personable. He was a very detailed person knowing just what might be the best idea for a gift for someone. Whenever I'd see him we'd stop and chat and I always enjoyed saying hello. Please accept my sympathies. He is chatting with the angels in Heaven now.
