Donna was born on April 2, 1941 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, daughter of Charles and Sophia (Mudica) Johnston. She married Derald A. Fishnick on July 5, 1958 in Prairie du Chien. She and Derald lived in Lisle, Illinois until his retirement, then moved to Platteville in 2004. She was a passionate gambler, from Keno to slot machines- she loved them all, and would stay all night, if you let her. She cherished spending time with her daughter, both at home and on the road, making recent trips together to Vegas and Deadwood and was busy plotting the next trip for a Memphis -Oklahoma casino hopping trip post- pandemic. She loved garage sales and thrift shopping with her sister, who was her partner-in-crime. She was also a loyal Bears, Cubs and Badgers fan, and she hated the Packers. She made amazing kolaches, wacky cake and sauerkraut stew, and always made sure to (over)feed everyone who visited. Donna was loving, funny, sassy, smart and deeply loved by many.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Bryant; son, Michael Fishnick; granddaughter, Sarah (Joey) Baley; four great-grandchildren, Skylar, Maddy, Aiden and Noah; one sister, Charlotte Adams, and special niece, Tracy Adams. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
