Peggy Seymour

Peggy M. Seymour, 73, of Mineral Point, Wisconsin, died on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. A celebration of life and burial will be held at a later date. Verna, or “Peggy” to all who knew her, was born on September 26, 1947 in Platteville, Wisconsin, daughter of Glenn and Verna (VanNatta) Cardy. She was united in marriage to Charles Seymour on June 10, 1967 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Platteville. Peggy graduated from Platteville High School and attended Madison College, where she studied culinary arts. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and reading. She especially loved her time with family and friends.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Charles; daughter, Tamara (Robert) Jennison; two grandsons, Tyler (Julie Duffie) Hildreth and Morgan Jennison; her sister, Dee (Dennis) Allen and their family, Wendy (Jeremy) Richardson and their children, Jacob and Allen; Jody Tenfel and her children, Emmy, Alex, Lucas, Christopher and Torey; two brothers, Eugene “Skip” Cardy and Dennis Cardy; sister-in-law, Connie Cardy and her daughter, Jackie (Patrick) Cruse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Verna Cardy and brother, LeRoy Cardy.
