Obituary
Gregory E. Tanner, 69, died on Saturday, March 27, 2021. He was born August 25, 1951 to Gail and Dorothy Tanner. He is survived by his brothers, Kevin (Lynne) and Schaun, their families, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Greg in death were his parents and sister, Cheryl Smoot. Greg's best memories are from serving his country in the US Navy as a Submariner. Per Greg's wishes there will be no funeral services. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is assisting the family. You may make any memorials to a Veterans Charity of your choice. Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.

kevin and shaun, my condolences for your brother. greg and i go back a long ways.how all those years fly by so fast. he was a great friend to veterans. greg and i shared many stories over the last 10 years. May he rest in peace.
