Beverly A. Burbach, 81, of Platteville, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 2, 2021. Per her wishes there will be no formal services. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family. Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.
Bevie was born on September 30, 1939 in Lima Township, Grant County, daughter of Lawrence and Marion (Bailey) Roddick. She was united in marriage to Lawrence “Larry” Burbach on July 19, 1980 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Platteville. Bevie was the front desk manager at the Governor Dodge Motor Inn, Platteville. She enjoyed tennis and traveling with her daughter, Dee and granddaughter, Kuen. Bevie especially loved to spend time with her family, which meant so much to her. She was blessed with elegance and class along with the most beautiful heart. Bevie embraced life every day, she taught humility for those less fortunate than you. Her kindness and love touched the lives of many and she will be missed tremendously.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Jay (Marsha) Butson, Perry (Robin) Butson, Dee (Dan) Anderson, Stacy Butson, David Burbach, Donald (Bonnie) Burbach, and Duane (Christine) Burbach; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eileen Griswold, Sue Ellen (George) Olthafer; brother, Michael (Renee) Roddick; sister-in-law, Blanche Roddick; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Dennis Burbach, grandson, Chris Jones, brother, Jerry Roddick, brother in Law, Azel Griswold and nephew James Roddick.
