Cheryl, I am so sorry to hear of your sister's passing. I remember the good old days in Galena at the old school and then moving to Platteville from the East Coast to find her living in Platteville. And I was fond of Brian who became my neighbor in Belmont. We touched bases in so many ways. My condolences to you, Cheryl, and to the rest of the family. Dorothy Beckwith

Carol and I had paths that kept crossing. I taught her children in sixth grade. Carol took a night class from me. She and I were also in a group of seven families that built our homes together through a Farmer's Home Administration self-help program in the 1970s. Recently I was able to visit her at Edenbrook Nursing home. Carol was her cheerful self. I always felt that Carol was someone that did the best she could despite many difficulties that came her way in life. I am sure she is lovingly remembered by those she came into contact with when she worked at Southwest Health and Parkview Terrace. She loved interacting with others to try to make their day better. I miss her. Kent Scheuerell
