Susan Speth

Susan Marie Speth, 62, of Belmont, Wisconsin, died on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Peace Lutheran Church, Belmont. Pastor Jen Johnson will officiate. Burial will be at the Belmont Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Sue was born on March 10, 1959, in Richland Center, Wisconsin, daughter of Arnold and Kay (McCullick) Swenson. She graduated from Boscobel High School and later from Southwest Tech., Fennimore. She was united in marriage to Ronald Speth on July 30, 1983 at Peace Lutheran Church, Belmont. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1996. Sue worked for over 40 years at Dick's Supermarket, Platteville, where she worked in many capacities throughout the store. She enjoyed baking, gardening, and tending to her flowers, doing crafts, watching movies, driving classic cars, and spending quality time with all of the family and friends she loved dearly. She was a long standing member of the Antique Town Rods in Galena, Illinois.

Sue is survived by her significant other, Justin Olthafer; brothers, Greg Swenson, Donald (Sue) Swenson, Robert Swenson, Dennis (Michelle Hartwig) Swenson, and John (Sherri) Swenson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron, parents, sister, Karen Schuppener and father and mother-in-law, Bob and Emmie Speth.
