Receiving the sad news today, I wanted to extend my deepest sympathy and prayers to Karen's family...brother Marvin was in my PHS class and we just had belated September 60 reunion so I called him to express my sympathy....she was a year behind Marvin and me at PHS and I remember her very well--sweet, modest high school student with many friends...Marv recounted to me that my late father, Dr. C.M. Schuldt, had delivered both of them with Marv's birth in his grandmother's home...my father did lots of house calls. Marv also said he thought my father was paid $16 and usually he didn't charge but received farm products in payment. Please know my heartfelt sympathy extends to all of Karen's family/friends. Respectfully, Carolyn Schuldt PHS 1960

Our thoughts and prayers are with Karen, her friends and family 🙏🏻 I always looked forward to seeing Karen for a Friday Fish Fry when Big Jim would come to town for the North vs South annual golf outing. Karen was a great person, always happy, smiling and I loved her laugh. God has other amazing plans for Karen and she is once again in the arms of her beloved husband, Mick. “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord," Rest In Peace Karen, you will be missed.

I remember summers in Wisconsin when we traveled from Pennsylvania to Platteville to see Grandma & Grampa Kettler and all our aunts, uncles, and cousins. Karen and Anita took us under their wing and played "house" and "dolls" with us, keeping us entertained for many an hour. We will miss Karen's quiet and gentle personality, as well as her ready smile, and her gentle smile.
