William R. Harris, 54, of Lancaster, Wisconsin, died on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at UW-Hospital, Madison, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Platteville Golf & Country Club, 6729 N. Water St., Platteville, WI 53818. Pastor Kevin Niebuhr will officiate. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the country club. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family. William was born on February 18, 1967 in Platteville, Wisconsin, the son of Roger and Patricia (Henry) Harris. On July 13, 2013 he was united in marriage to Brenda McClung in Mifflin, Wisconsin. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing video games, and playing bass guitar. William also enjoyed tattoos, whether it be getting them himself or tattooing others; he was really an artist in general. He also loved to spend time with his family, be it given or chosen. Riding motorcycle was a great joy, he loved club life in general and he was a former member of the Beowulf MC and a current member of the Road Runner MC.
William is survived by his wife, Brenda; five children, Jeff (Samantha) Burke, William Harris, Steve (Ashley Wojtalewicz) Harris, Devin Pinkham, and Sara Fritz; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Christine Harris and Sheila Dunnam; sister-in-law, Niana Dunnam; and nieces and nephew, Anna Iverson, Toni Jo Voelker, Terry James Bartels, and Garrett, Curt, and Jeremy Dunnam. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Cathy Dunnam, Terry Harris, and Dave Dunnam.
