A really nice guy. That is how we remember George. He helped a lot of people in many ways. We greatly appreciated his part in serving our Honor Roll Committee. Proud to have his name on the statues placard in Platteville City Park.

To Curry Family I’m older son of Janet (Edge) and Phillip Carley. I would like to send our sincere condolence to your family from my family. I met George several times when I ran track in high school through my parents. I knew Art and Phyllis from my younger years so I always followed George’s career as Grant County judge as I am a police officer in Trempealeau. The times we spoke he was very enjoyable to converse with. This is such a sad loss of a fine outstanding gentleman. Good speed to all of you….
