A small part of us died with the passing of Lennie. Lennie was a giver not a taker . he inheritaed his soft heart from his father and devolped his own ways and leather skin himself. He loved any thing with pistons, would love to talk racing and pulling just wanting to be a part of it always grading the track at plattville. he would work not for the bottom line but to make sure the job was done and done right, bouncing across a field in that old rough cat. God speed to you Lennie job well done . FULL PULL!!!! Your speed friend Jim

My cousin Lenny. Our mothers were related and grew up together in Highland, WI. Our fathers become life long friends through our mothers. My mother was your Godmother. Our mothers would spend endless hours having long distance phone calls in our growing years. Many Sunday meals down on the farm. We grieved at the accidental loss of your brother Michael. Many memories will continue with your passing, may you be granted Eternal Life. Cousin, John E. Hahn

Lenny Lonsberg.... MY Friend. You will live on in my memory as a true Gentle-man and Mentor. From some of my youngest memories at Lakeview and McClure's Bar in Prairie Du Chien to talking me into joining the Platteville Fire Department, you were always that funny, happy, positive, silly, serious roll model in my life. Thank you for everything, REST IN PEACE. Eric Reese
