Timothy P. Parsons, 75, of Platteville, Wisconsin, died on Thursday, July 28, 2022. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Deacon Bill Bussan will officiate. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, or from 9:00 AM until the time of the service Saturday. Tim was born on August 25, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois, son of LeRoy and Grace (Froelich) Parsons. He was united in marriage to Mary Lou Isdell on March 7, 1970 in South Dakota. He was a truck driver for Roadway Transport, where he drove for over 30 years. After retiring he worked at Kwik Trip, Platteville. He enjoyed his TV and going to movies. He was an avid Chicago Bears, Bulls, White Sox and Black Hawks fan. Tim especially loved spending time with his family.

Tim is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; four children, Timothy (Hung thi nguyen) Parsons, Jr., Cynthia Parsons, James (Samantha) Parsons, and Richard (Angela) Parsons; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Abigail Bahr and Carol (Glen) Hashizumi and brother, Forest (Ivan Matos) Parsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Grace Parsons, brother, Richard, infant sister, Joy, and brother-in-law, Ray Bahr.

So sorry for your loss. I remember visiting with Tim, Mary Lou, and aunt Maxine at the St. Rose parish summer auction in Cuba City. I would be there with my parents Robert and Mary Cragg. Hugs to all.
