Obituary

Robert Dennis “Bob” McCall, 63, of Platteville, Wi died on Saturday, July 30th, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Pastor Mary Ann Floerke will officiate. Robert “Bob” to those who knew him, and “Dennis” to his family, was born on April 14th, 1959 in Smyerna, TN. The son of Louis and Barbara McCall. He grew up mainly in El Paso, TX. He served in the US Army. He was united in marriage to Kimberly “Kim” McCall, April 12th, 1991 in Casa Grande, AZ. Bob worked at Farm & Fleet for 24 years in the automotive department. He loved spending time with his family, spending time outside cutting wood, piddling in the garage, and was always up for a good bonfire. He also loved watching movies, even ones he had watched a hundred times. He was an avid football fan, cheering for Alabama “Roll Tide” and the Washington Commanders. 

Bob is survived by his wife, Kim ; daughter, Savannah ; father Louis McCall ; 3 sisters, Peggy (Wade) Compton, Bonnie (Cliff) Underhill, and Barbra (Luke) Bozeman ; mother-in-law, Gloria Lange; brothers and sister-in-law, Krista Feist, Gene Lange, Michael Lange ; nieces, Stephanie (Terrance) , Tomica, Heather (Joe), Sara (CJ), Kaylie, Calissa, Alyssa ; Nephews, Chris (Tenbye) Jason, Nick (Ashley), Bret “Bearcub”. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara and father-in-law, Eugene “Yogi” Lange.
