Patricia A. “Pat” Barrett, 90, of Belmont, Wisconsin died Sunday, December 31, 2023. Pat was born May 19, 1933 as the only child of William and Ruby (Thomas) Aurit. After she graduated from Belmont High School, she married Gerold “Jerry” Barrett. Jerry preceded her in death in 1986. Pat worked at Fendall for some time and then was in housekeeping at Southwest Health Center until her retirement. She was a member of St. Philomina Catholic Church. Pat was a sports fan, with her favorites being the Brewers, Packers, Bucks and Badgers. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers.

Pat is survived by her sons, Patrick (Nancy), Mark and Richard “Rick”, daughter-in-law Rosa Montejano Barrett, grand-children, Kari Barrett, Benjamin (Angie Griffith) Barrett, Molli (Wade) Moen and Todd Barrett and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Gerold “Michael” Barrett and her parents.

A visitation will be Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with at Scripture Wake Service at 4:00 PM at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, Wisconsin. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Belmont, Wisconsin, at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.

Pat was one of my favorite coworkers and friend. She made me laugh with her jokes and many of her actions. Enjoyed meeting her after work and have a few beers 🍻 we shared pics of our boxers. She will surely be missed 😢

My condolences to Rick and all. Would see Pat and Rick running errands and making the rounds. Pat baked the best loaves of Barrett’s Banana Nut Bread and shared them willingly. Chipper and sunny of disposition, always looked forward to a ‘Chat with Pat’.
