Patricia Kohl

Patricia “Pat” M. Kohl, 72, of Lancaster, WI, formerly of Platteville rode off in the sunset Sunday, April 13, 2025 after a long battle with heart disease and Diabetes. She was born May 18, 1952, the daughter of William “Bill” and Doris (Day) Roberts.

Pat was a hairdresser for an impressive 49 years. She began her career at House of Bernard Allen, then she opened her own shop called Pat's His & Hers and later worked at the Beauty Boutique. Pat also worked part time at UNO's as a waitress. She had a love of horses and became the proud owner of Horse Crazy Acres in Lima Township in 1994. Pat had two special canine companions, Umbrella and Ruby, and her horse, Willy D. She also enjoyed following her granddaughter when she was in the Dubuque Drum & Bugle Corp and supported all her other musical accomplishments, and loved being an exceptional caretaker and advocate for her grandson.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Deana (Keith “Rhino”) Lehmann, grandchildren, Erin (Andrew) Walz and Kendall Gleason, step-grandchildren, Spencer and Steven Lehmann, sister, Grace (Steve) Knutson, brothers, Mike (Melanie) Roberts and Robert (Jessica) Roberts and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Dr. Craig Hancock will officiate. A visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.
