Miriam L'lee “Mim” Huilman, 75, of Platteville, WI died Friday, April 12, 2024. Mim was born in Elkhart, Indiana on the 7th of February, 1949. She moved to Platteville, Wisconsin in July, 1965. She graduated from Platteville High School in 1967. She married her husband, Charles William “Chis” Huilman on November 16, 1968. Mim was a clerk at Marilee's Main Street Mall and she enjoyed working stained glass projects.

Mim is survived by her husband Chis, four sons, Brian, Chad (Shauna), Kevin and Alex (Sam), five grandchildren, Ashlyn, Aaron, Hazel, Wesley and Pearl, three brothers, Jack (Peg) Eherenman, John (Karen) Eherenman and P J Rockwell and sister, Brabara (Quint) Rockwell-Bishop, brother-in-law, John (Dianne) Huilman, sister-in-law, Mary (Robert) Soat, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Huilman and many nieces and nephews.

Mim was preceded in death by her mother, Lauralee Kemper Rockwell, her three fathers, Norman Culver, William Eherenman and Perry Rockwell, a brother, James Eherenman, nephew, Sean Eherenman, nephew-in-law, Ryan Weidman, brother-in-law James Huilman and her in-laws William and Florence Huilman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, where there will be a memorial service at 1:30 PM. Pastor Mary Ann Floerke will officiate. Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.

Dear Chis... I was so very saddened to read about Mim's passing. She and I were in the same Class of 67 at PHS. We had not seen each other for some time as I haven't gotten to Platteville much in recent years but I've not forgotten the friendship she and I shared.
