Obituary

Michelle R. Lupee, 47, died on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 220 Broadway, Platteville.  Rev. Joel Voss will officiate.  Burial will be at Whig Cemetery.  Friends may call from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.  Memorials may be made to the Michelle R. Michelle was born on July 28, 1970 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Henry “Hank” and Marlene (Schnack) Becker.  She was united in marriage to Irvin Lupee on May 13, 1989 at (Church Medill), Chicago.

Michelle graduated from Nicolet Technical College, Rhinelander, Wisconsin, with an associate's degree in marketing and business.  In 1993 she and Irv moved to Crandon, Wisconsin where the owned and operated Rustic Haven Resort and worked at a Bank.  They moved to Platteville in 2004 where Michelle worked at Southwest Health Center Hospital, Platteville, as admissions clerk. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Platteville, where she was very giving of her time to her church. Michelle enjoyed the outdoors, riding motorcycle, cycling, tending to her flowers, and photography. 

Michelle is survived by her husband, Irvin; son, Coleman (fiancé, Mackenzie Johnston); parents, Henry “Hank” and Marlene Becker; two sisters, Kim (Jim) Glazier and Cristy (Shane) Petijean; brothers-in-law, Anthony (Odessa) Lupee and Kenneth (Sybil) Lupee and nephews (Shane and Blake).  She was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Irvin and Carol Lupee, Sr.
