Maggie was born on July 5, 1934 in Platteville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Clarence and Frieda (Engelke) Kamps. She was a very dedicated and loving mother and grandmother as well. In her free time, Maggie enjoyed cooking, going fishing with Ron and family, and spending time at their cabin at River of Lakes, Bagley. She was also an avid Badger and Packers fan, and always a Russell Wilson fan!

Maggie, may you Rest In Peace! You were my very first friend in Belmont outside of family! Dad (Russell) used to bring me to town with him often, and I would climb up on a bar stool near the donuts and malted milk balls and Maggie and I would visit and talk about all sorts of things. I remember her kindness and laughter and the treats she snuck to me so well! Then, when I got into high school and started working in Platteville, she would always come and see me at work. I always made sure we got a little chance to talk. I never remember seeing her without a smile or one of her hearty laughs! I still think for her often with great fondness and memories! We send our deepest sympathies to Maggie's family. Maggie was so friendly and nice. RIP Maggie. She showed me how to make the swiss steak and coleslaw when I started the Peace Lutheran fall dinner. She was such a giving person.

My sympathy to Maggie's family. I had the opportunity to get to know Maggie when she resided at Grays Nursing Hime, where I worked. After she was back in her home I'd stop in and have a chat. She was fun to have around and loved to tease and joke around. May she R.I.P
