LuAnne was a sweetheart. I spent several years babysitting LuAnne and Jeff. I remember as a little one she was terrified of storms! I spent many nights comforting her. It seemed like every time Pat and Clayton would go out for the evening...there would be a storm!

Dear Kleibenstein family, I was so sad to see that LuAnn passed away. I grew up around the block, on 7th Avenue. I remember looking up to LuAnn as a kid and thinking she was a neat teenager. For some reason, I thought her name was BluAnn when I was little and called her that in person one time. That remained something of a fun family joke and part of how I always thought of her. LuAnn was a kind person whom I admired. You all have my sympathy for the passing of your mom and LuAnn.

I have clear memories of LuAnn as a kind little girl at First English Lutheran Church, all dressed up for Sunday School and offering everyone a big smile. She was always ready to listen to others and give them hugs.
