John Charles Henry, Sr., 60, of Livingston, Wisconsin, died on Saturday, January 18, 2020. A private celebration of life will be held at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu flowers memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.

John was born on February 8, 1960 in Platteville, Wisconsin, son of Wilbur L. and MaryAnn (Geasland) Henry. John worked construction for many years and farmed for Richard Lange Farms. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, going to sporting events, country music, and following Dale Jarrett in NASCAR.

John is survived by his children, John Charles Henry, Jr., Tina Johnson, John Mark (fiance, Becky Homa) Henry; four grandchildren; sister, Christine (Daren) Grimesey; special nieces and nephews, Heather (Ryan) Bender, Tonia (Cody) Chandler, Kayla (Chad) Fuchs, Julie Henry and many other nieces and nephews; step-sons, Jamie (Shannon) Gregory and Brett (Kimi Rae) Gregory. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cindy.

My time was short with John and Platteville back in Jr. High but the memories have never left. I am sad to hear of his passing so young!! My condolences to all his family especially wife and children!
