Obituary
Dorothie Irene Bradley, 93, of Platteville, WI, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Born on October 10, 1932, in Darlington, WI, to John and Edith (Carpenter) Coulthard, she and her twelve brothers and sisters were raised on a Willow Springs farm in Lafayette County; she attended Fort Defiance school and graduated from Darlington High School in 1950. On October 29, 1952, she married Leo Bradley in Platteville, WI.
Dorothie will be remembered for her spirit, strength, and individuality. She was employed at the Burgess Battery factory and Fendall until her retirement. She had a passion for life, enjoying travel, playing cards, and watching sports. Above all, she cherished her family. She was a central figure in our lives, leaving us with lasting memories.
She is survived by her children: Bruce (Tammy) Bradley, Deb (Jeff) Scott, and Dave (Deb) Bradley, all of Platteville, WI. She was a proud grandmother to Sarah (Brad) Crist, Michelle Nodorft, Kyndle Oberbroeckling, Lauren (Brian) Kershner, Katie (fiancé, Luke) Bradley, and Collin and Carter Bradley. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Cole and Cooper Crist; Haleigh and Hunter Oberbroeckling and Brynleigh and Taylor Casper, Keagan Taylor and Gavin Jacobsen; and Wyatt, Addison and Emmalyn Kershner; her brother, Lloyd Coulthard; and her sisters, Lona Parkinson, Joyce Stoddard, Nancy Reisen, Dixie Arthur, Patsy (Bill) Ranum, and Rita Suthers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, in 1979; her brothers, June, Richard, and Gary; and her sisters, Elaine and Anna Mae.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Noon at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Friends and family are invited to join us afterwards for lunch.
