Alyssa Miles

Alyssa Ann Miles, 29, Platteville, WI died Wednesday, September 13, 2023 as the result of a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Pastor Mary Ann Floerke will officiate. Alyssa was born on August 1, 1994 to Tami Redfearn and Craig “Fred” Miles. She graduated high school from Monroe Virtual School. Alyssa studied Business courses through online classes at Arizona State University and accounting at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College. She was a full time accountant for Hillcrest Family Services, Dubuque, IA, was a realtor for EXP Realty and a part time bartender at Midway Tavern near Rockville. Family was her focus and loved creating memories with her two children Amara (4) and Bexley (2). Alyssa enjoyed traveling and was on the go all the time.

Alyssa is survived by her children Amara and Bexley Moris, her parents Tami (fiance Chuck Folsom) Redfearn and Craig (Suzy Moen) Miles, Sisters Samantha (Joel) Kirkpatrick, Cayla (Steven Pearsall) Redfearn and Savannah Mabra; step-grandmother, Carol Redfearn; nieces and nephews, Deon, Jaleigha, Aubriyanna, Andrew, Emily, Bella, and Landon; andmany aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Richard Redfearn, Linda Jackson and Roger and Beverly Miles, a sister Cayla Mutert.
