Obituary

Mary Margaret Fuerstenberg passed away October 27, 2018 at her home. Mary was born October 9, 1947 to Cornelia “Dolly” Warne and Willard Udelhoven in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Mary graduated from Platteville High School and Southwest Tech, Fennimore, where she got her degree in cosmetology. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting.

She leaves her husband, Larry and her fur babies, Mollie and Buddy, daughter, Patty (Gary Anderson) Koestler, sons, Gary (Trisha) Koestler, Butch Allen (Carol) Koestler, stepchildren, Mickey (Shannon) Fuerstenberg, Amy (Chad) Meyers, Ben (Tarrah) Fuerstenberg, Jennifer (Kevin) Becker, and Matt Eggert. She is survived also by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings, James (Carol) Udelhoven, and Marie Lulu Belle Tuescher. She was preceded in death by her parents, the father who raised her, Phillip Kilcoyne, grandson, Joshua Koestler, brother, LeRoy Udelhoven, father-and-mother in law, Leonard and Melva Fuerstenberg, and brother-in-law, Wayne Fuerstenberg.

Per Mary's wishes there will be no formal services. Private family burial will take place at the Rock Church Cemetery, Livingston, Wisconsin. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family. Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.

Larry and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Mary's passing but if she could not get better, she is in a better place and is at piece now. She will be sadly missed. I will always remember trying to teach her to be more conservative when cutting her fabric for paper piecing and she still would just hold up a piece of fabric and cut any size she wished to cut and if after sewing it was too small she would always say "oh well I have more fabric." We will always miss her wonderful caramel corn at Christmas time. Carol and staff
